The Broadland 15 Highline builds on the Broadland 15, adding extra depth for better performance in rough conditions and greater load capacity. Designed for paddlers tackling more demanding waters or carrying extra gear, this version offers a drier ride and improved tracking while maintaining the maneuverability of the original model. By increasing capacity without extending the length, it remains agile and responsive.
Best For:
Paddlers carrying large loads on expeditions.
Rougher waters where extra freeboard provides a drier ride.
Solo paddlers who need extra capacity for longer trips.
When to Think Twice About This Model:
More freeboard means increased exposure to wind – If you frequently paddle on large, open lakes or coastal waters, the taller profile may require more corrective strokes to stay on course in strong winds.
Additional depth adds some weight – If your focus is keeping the canoe as lightweight as possible, the standard Broadland 15 may be a more efficient choice for portaging and transport.
Why Choose the Broadland 15 Highline?
Drier ride in challenging conditions – The additional freeboard helps deflect waves, keeping paddlers and gear drier in big water and rough conditions.
Increased capacity without sacrificing maneuverability – Added depth allows for more gear storage without increasing length, keeping the canoe responsive and agile.
Spare parts & Accessories
Due to manufacturing here in the UK, we have an array of spare parts and accessories on hand ready to be shipped out for any repairs or upgrades.
The optimum ranges are suggested for typical paddlers in a variety of different water conditions and the users can expect the craft to paddle as designed within these ranges.
The ultimate capacity is derived using an industry standard test of the amount of static weight it takes to achieve a 6” freeboard. This is not a recommendation of suitability of use at these weights.
